30 weeks/7 months

Well, I just got a new job and have actually been working on my dissertation a bit. So the blog got a bit neglected. I'll get back to the biweekly photos asap.
Let's see, what else is new around here?

We went swimming! She loved it. And also worked on her suntan.

 She just decided last week that it was time to sit up by herself.

 What's that baby-appropriate toy? Oh, it's a dog bone.

This is the eating pose. Seriously - she eats with one foot up, and kicks her chair with the other foot.

• She still doesn't like carrots, but loves everything else she's tried. Zucchini is a favorite - her teachers say they have never seen a baby who likes zucchini this much! She's eating 3 meals a day, plus about 5 smaller bottles through the day.
• All that eating means she's packing on the pounds - she's up to around 14 pounds. Still super tiny, but she is gaining quickly. 
• Still sleeping 8-5:30ish - sometimes she makes it until 6. Every night around 10:30 she lets out a giant scream, but she's still asleep. Kind of weird.
• Today she had her first all-out hysterical laugh fest. She is generally somewhat serious and concentrates on what is going on around her, but today she was a crazy giggle factory. It was pretty great.
